  1. Neither Tarzan or Jane was ape … @Olivier and SamiHelen's place is quite a bit further than Gibraltar for you but definitely worth visiting. 😉

  2. I believe the planes will be overbooked with Opera's users for the next ten years … 😎

  3. :insane: I don't think the Airbus 380 can land at Wellington Airport! Helsinki? Probably. And Cape Town, too. But you've got to ask Sami and Helen about that.

  4. or ashes, satellites, gods, … so as an interlude ( Airbus planes developed or built in Toulouse ) :sing: :

Ask the landlord : it's a very clean blog with a "notice board", very serious studies ("Study of red""), deep questions on life and philosophy ("Do you see?") and a high-class club : "not interested in being another avatar in a stranger's friends list"

  7. Deb, please, it's a serious blog here  !!

  11. The pleasure was mine, Olivier. A lot of themes, both blog posts and photo albums, were inspired by your input. That was my luck and honour to meet you this year. :up:And the same goes to you, Deb. My blogging is not the same without your inspiration and feedbacks. It was a wonderful Christmas present that you've decided to come back. 😉

  12. Another cute Japanese smilie, Deb? Originally posted by mimi_s_mum:

And you are not allowed to take Christmas present back, you know? :p

Yes, that's Mr. Onion Head again. He's hails from this site. I can't read a word of what it says there. :confused:Originally posted by mimi_s_mum:

The site is actually written in traditional Chinese. The original characters may still be Japanese, though.

I had no idea. I don't know if it is the artist's site, or a fan site.

  16. I must say you have a good sense of observation, it was quite difficult to guess  …..

  18. :eyes: Do you have penguins near the Cape? (I suppose you may well do. We do have little blue penguins around Wellington coast.):pingu:

  19. Ah, yes, seeing is believing. Helsinki airport is big enough for Airbus 380

According to a documentary I saw, some penguins migrate temporarily up to the equator :yikes: Around Cape, they are probably more common than seals.

:faint: Amazing what they can do with small models 😆 Nice landings

  22. Yes, air-traffic controllers must have lot of fun with full-size planes 😉 !

    That's some fine flying.

  25. Ok Aadil did answer the penguin question so I will say, yes thank you the celebration was a blast. How about you?

  26. Pretty low key. (Remember I had a bout of tummy bug a couple of days before?) I was well enough to visit friends' place for dinner on the new year's day and rescued the rabbit yesterday. So my New Year's been pretty good. 🙂

  27. Thanks, MM, I was wondering why you were chasing a rabbit but was afraid to ask. I am glad you rescued the little critter.

Turned out it was one of neighbours' pet rabbits. (Male is still on the loose :p)

  29. Hahahaha, I knew that….I hope the male returns before the dogs get to him.

Yeah. I might hop over there tomorrow and see if the male has returned. A bonus of this little invasion was I got to meet the owners. Their place is two sections down but both of our houses are a way above street level and the closest we've got until then was to pass each other in our cars.
