😆 That a female Wellington Tree weta. You know the director Peter Jackson and his team that filmed The Lord of The Rings trilogy? His visual effect guys are called Weta Studio and Weta Digital, named after this creature very common in Wellington. 🙂
Thanks, Steffi 🙂 No, the cat is not hunting. There's a gap in the wire netting and she was probably just guarding it from the rude neighbour tomcat :D@Michal :cheers:Originally posted by crystalacey:

Thanks for the tip. It's the valleys of corrugated iron that needs close hand brushing and I'm over a half done. Might as well carry on. I'm hoping to finish wire brushing stage by Friday, wash down and priming in the weekend and the first coat Monday. (But then when I started in November,I was planning to finish it all by end of January :p)
Exactly, but when you are working (translating) you sit down in a comfortable chair and drink coffee…Thats why weekends are not so good, all the horrible jobs get to be done, during the week you can relax and do something more calming

:lol:I'm actually planning to take a week off to get roof painting done, at least to get the spot priming stage done. With all the autumn rain and dewy mornings I can't leave those exposed iron patches and let rust developing any more. Just thinking about wire brushes make me feel exhausted now. :awww:
There is another type that is shaped like a disk for getting into areas like that, you will find that your progress will increase by probably 4 to five times… They are very cheap too
Thanks, DH :)Not as colourful as my previous monthly collages, but it wasn't colourful month, anyway. 😉
Cool
What is that next to the drill? :left:.

They sure do look like prawns, especially the ones with a round back.
Ah, so it is..Their first cousins live right here in South Africa. We call them 'Parktown Pawns'. (look it up, they have a wiki page. :D)

Nah. Merely a reference to their superficial resemblance to prawns..
Beautiful collage. Is the cat on a bird hunting?
😎

That's good that you have a guard cat. :lol:As the burglars have at least not so easily to you.
Your collage determines this month your cat, my collage the wild geese. Let us be surprised what dominates this month.

OK. I'll make an enquiry. Cheers, DH. Off to the shop soon. TTFN
Have a good one :bye:
You have an angle grinder? You can get a wire brush that attaches to it, one like this would probably be the best…http://blog.autospeed.com/static/images/blog/2007/09/twisted-wire-brush.jpg
I've been wire brushing the roof for last couple of days and THAT is exhausting. :faint:

Its not the place or the time that matters, its the type of work that counts 😀
