Just created a new album titled 52

This is a kind of my personal one photo a day, 7 photos a week, 365 photos a year project. I'm hopeless with diary keeping but hoping this might work as a photo diary. Mind you there are a lot of cat photos. 😆

Just found a neat trick to present an album, courtesy of Sami and Furie. 🙂

This might be an incentive to change the photo order, as has been suggested by Deb. I'll see what I can do. 😉

Well, I've changed the photo order. The recent community improvement for setting own default sort order seems another and timely incentive to change my mind. 🙂

The latest photo was taken yesterday at Rugby World Cup victory parade and showing the All Black Captain Richie McCaw holding the Webb Ellis Trophy with a beautiful smile. I'd like to keep this one on the top for a month or. So I'll be adding new photos after his for a while. 😉

  5. Nice album. Ahem. It might be easier on your album's repeat viewers if the photos were arranged in reverse chronological order. But you may very well prefer chronological order for your own reasons. :coffee:

  6. I've thought about photo order and have decided to put them chronologically. This is my picture diary album. You don't put your diary pages in reverse order, do you? ;)The regular viewers can go to the first page and click "Previous" to see the latest picture. 🙂

    That's just fine 🙂 I figured that out quite soon, and once you know it, it is not a problem at all.

    I'll tweet every time I make update to the album and include link to the latest photo. You can either follow my tweets directly or use my twitter updates widget on blog sidebar to get there straight away. 😉

  12. From now on I'll also put the thumbnail and link to the latest photo in the "Notice Board" blog top sticky post every time I upload new pictures to 52. Should become even easier to access to the latest photo. 🙂

I'm very busy right now having an all work and no play week and then the Rugby World Cup Final is on this weekend. But when I have some down time, I'll see what I can do. 😉

  20. Unfortunately one still has to sort the album every time when new pictures uploaded if 'descending order' used to show the latest pictures first :awww:

My dad wanted to see the latest pictures as well without having to go through everything from the beginning. So I suppose I have to admit the viewers are the kings and queens here. :lol:I had a busy week and another order just arrived. Looks like I'll have to do some work over the weekend. Ah! Joy of freelancing. 😥 I'll make sure I'm still free when rugby viewing time comes.

  28. Cheers, Deb. I'm doing OK. Seems getting a bit more work than the same time last year. And it's been raining a bit for last few weeks. So my life and photos have been more indoor oriented lately.

  30. I checked out your recent rugby stuff. Most sports-related stuff goes whooshing over my head. Just got back from a really pleasant weekend in a cabin hosted by some friends. Unbelievably nice, autumn weather. Meanwhile to the east of us there was a freakishly early snowstorm and 2 million people are without power.

    Yeah. I have read about it. Is is a sign Northern winter will be harsher than normal? We had a colder winter than usual here in down under.

    Actually rugby is a religion in NZ. So think my rugby stuff as spiritual and cultural discussions (with aesthetic appreciation of athleticism in certain strapping young ruggermen with cute smile, being a female fan). 😀

    American football is like a religion in my community… 💡 so I guess that makes me an atheist.When I was a young woman, I actually rented a room from a woman who was the head basketball coach for the women at a university. To be polite I attended one game, but I don't get basketball, either. As it turns out this basketball coach was quite something.
