It's about time I blogged about my outdoor project last year. I somehow missed the timing to start sharing ongoing development. A good thing with this delay is, I can now share the experience in a "fastforward flashbacks" fashion.
The project was setting up of raised beds for growing vegetables. The first picture shows the "before" stage, taken January 2011 while still preparing to paint the roof. …
And the second picture is the "after" stage of bed making. 😀

My living-room window is a jungle … I have keep cutting things back, throwing out extra bits, etc. and rooting promising-looking fragments. I've got a purple-leaved fuzzy sort of plant right now that is growing like crazy and I must have 20 pieces of it with roots on them, in jars of water. Every once in a while someone gives me something like this, and I'm in the spot of giving away these little incipient plants, along with warnings about the thing trying to take over the house.
