Buying a lotto ticket? :DWell, this one was a bit tougher, wasn't it? I've started to worry if I had to changed the post title to "Unidentifieable household object" :p
Let's not forget Annette also got very close. I suspect, without her input, it might have taken a bit longer for the correct answer to come. So here's to Annette :wine:
Not so bad. The day's been cold & wet, no good for much other actions than looking into computer monitor. ;)And I've been procrastinating, too. :p Check out my latest post and pictures. 😎
Well, it really looks like a belly and belly button of a ceramic statue. But, since it's supposed to be a cleaning device, then I'm obviously wrong.
This one took longer than DH's of Aadil's. DH did get the answer to which household item? question. But you can still carry on and try to find the actual product name, ie what kind of steam cleaner is it? Care to try, Chuck? 😉
I'd say the picture you saw were taken with the wrong white balance :pBTW Do you have a clear sky over there, DH? Can you see the sun?If so, check out "Transit of Venus: How not to miss it". I'm missing out because there's a thick layer of clouds over Wellington (Disclaimer. A duplicate post :o)
I got to see the Transit of Venus thing.Although just freakin' barely. It was a friggin' speck … literally! While I knew it wasn't gonna be anywhere remotely near the size of a Lunar Eclipse or Sun Eclipse, I was certainly expecting something bigger than a grain of Black Pepper. Sheesh! :irked:How small was it? While my youngest sister, her daughter and I were able to see it, my Mom & Dad were NOT able to see it, try as they did.At first we tried viewing it with just a Welder's Mask, but nothing was visible even though we had just heard on the Local News that it was happening at that moment. So, I told my Mom, "Let me borrow your Sunglasses. I'll put them on underneath the Welder's Mask. Maybe with just the Welder's Mask, the Sun is still too bright and there isn't enough contrast." And sure enough, once I wore the Sunglasses underneath the Welder's Mask, I was able to see … to see grain of Black Pepper on the Sun.
Oh, Chuck you lucky lucky thing! Did you know several European countries sent their ships over all the way to Pacific to observed the 1769 transit of Venus? Captain Cook was in command of one of those expeditions. After completing the mission near Tahiti,he then popped over to NZ to "discover" it for the British. So that was a very important grain of black pepper. 😉http://www.teara.govt.nz/en/european-discovery-of-new-zealand/4I read using a pin-hole and projecting the image was a good way to see it large. But wearing sunglasses under welder's mask sounds quite cool 😎
I was kidding my Mom when she wasn't able to see it.She had surgery on one eye last year. And now recently she had surgery on the other eye. She now theoretically has borderline Superman Vision … and yet was NOT able to see Venus on the Sun. I told my Mom, "You ought to go to your eye doctor and tell him, 'Heyyyyy! I want my money back! I'm supposed to now have practically Superman Vision, and yet I wasn't able to see that Venus on the sun thing!'" I don't know why she wasn't able to see it. After her 2 eye surgeries, she's theoretically supposed to have better vision than me. I think her doctor told her after her recent eye surgery that she now had 20 / 20 vision. I certainly don't have that and yet I was able to see Venus on the sun … without even wearing my Glasses.
See ya! 🙂
Could it be the corner of a plastic food container?

Not really. A clue: it's not fixed. 😉
Another guessing game, I had one yesterday, qlue had one too…It looks a bit like a bidet 😀
Hmm, I will think about it. I gotta go :bye: 😀
It looks like there is water coming out the middle..
Getting a little closer. 😉 A corner of something made of plastic, at least this part. Third clue: it has nothing to do with food. 😀

The acute angle between the side suggest that its triangular. Could it be a wall plug? :sherlock: .
I'll give you one, anyway. Fourth clue: a relatively new product type
A triangular ceramic mug

…the corner of a vacuum cleaner?

Now that's more like it. 😀 Yes. The main function of this item is cleaning. And yes. It is powered by electricity. You're almost there, Annette!

Very, though possibly tangentially so 😆
I did finish the draft translation, too, you know. I will only need to revise & proofread it tomorrow then send away. :coffee:
DHThank you Mimi

Thank you, too, Annette for your participation.
Oops! I just noticed the answer was already revealed.
My immediate initial thought was along the lines of DH's guess.I thought it was a fancy toilet seat cover. 😆
Well, it really looks like a belly and belly button of a ceramic statue. But, since it's supposed to be a cleaning device, then I'm obviously wrong.
@Annette – all i see is a small grey square :eyes:

But the wrong colour for the 403A…
That is a CleanZilla SUX 405.

I think he is right, thought it was the 403A but thinking about it, the colour is wrong 😆
It failed to show earlier, Annette. It's showing now. Hope DH gets to see it.
